01Personal Information We Collect
Florix ("the Company") collects and processes the following information in connection with our services.
- When purchasing a license: Email address and payment-related information. Payments are processed by a third-party payment processor; the Company does not directly store card numbers or other payment instrument details.
- When using the software (app): License key, device identifier (hardware-based), installation information, and product version. This information is processed for license activation, verification, and prevention of unauthorized use.
- When submitting a support inquiry: Email address and the contents of your inquiry.
- When visiting the website: Usage statistics such as page views, clicks, and scroll behavior, as well as anonymized session records. Cookies are used for visit analytics (Google Analytics) and usability analysis (Microsoft Clarity). Input fields in Clarity are masked by default; no individual is directly identified.
02Purpose of Collection and Use
- License issuance, activation, verification, and prevention of unauthorized use
- Payment processing and purchase/refund record management
- Customer support and inquiry handling
- Service operation, error improvement, and visit analytics
- Compliance with applicable laws and regulations
03Retention Period
- License and payment-related information is retained for the duration of the license term and any period required by applicable laws (including the Act on the Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce), then securely deleted.
- Device identifiers used for license activation are retained while the license remains active and deleted upon license termination or upon a deletion request.
- Customer inquiry information is retained for the period necessary to handle potential disputes after the inquiry is resolved, then deleted.
- If you request deletion, information not subject to a mandatory retention obligation under applicable law will be deleted without delay.
04Disposal Procedure and Method
Florix deletes personal information without delay once the retention period expires or the purpose of processing is fulfilled.
Electronic files are deleted in a manner that makes recovery or reconstruction infeasible. Information stored with third-party services is deleted through those services' management interfaces or via the relevant processor.
05Third-Party Disclosure
Florix does not provide your personal information to third parties. However, we do outsource certain processing activities as described in Section 06 to the extent necessary for service delivery. Disclosure required by law is an exception.
06Outsourced Processing
Florix outsources the following activities to external services for stable service operation.
- Payment processing and license issuance/verification: Polar Software Inc. (Merchant of Record)
- Payment card processing: Stripe, Inc.
- Website visit analytics: Google Analytics (Google LLC, uses cookies)
- Website usability analysis (heatmaps and session recording): Microsoft Clarity (Microsoft Corporation, uses cookies)
07Cross-Border Transfer of Personal Information
Florix operates license payment, verification, and visit analytics through overseas services, which means the information you provide or that is generated may be transferred abroad as described below. The following is disclosed pursuant to Article 28-2 of the Personal Information Protection Act.
The Florix website also uses Google Analytics (Google LLC, United States) for visit analytics. Page views and usage behavior are collected via cookies and transmitted to Google's servers.
The Florix website additionally uses Microsoft Clarity to improve usability. Visitor interactions including clicks, scrolls, and mouse movements, as well as anonymized session records, are transmitted to Microsoft Corporation (United States) servers. Clarity uses cookies, and input field content is masked by default.

This Privacy Policy may be updated in accordance with changes in applicable laws, service operations, or third-party services used. Any changes will be announced on the Florix website.
